About Bloom & Kin

Rooted In
Family

Hello, I'm Emma, the person behind Bloom & Kin.

I created Bloom & Kin during my maternity leave, when I took a little time to think about what I wanted to create for myself and my growing family.

My background is in graphic design, I've always loved creating things that are thoughtful, beautiful and meaningful, and becoming a mum made me appreciate even more the little moments, milestones and connections that make family so special, and Bloom & Kin grew from that feeling.

Inspired by the people we love

Flowers have always felt like a beautiful way of telling a story. Each birth month has its own flowers, making them a lovely way to represent the individual people who make up a family.

This became the inspiration behind some of Bloom & Kin's first designs, personalised botanical artwork that brings names, birth months and family connections together in one beautiful piece.

I love the idea that something hanging on your wall can be more than just decoration. It can hold a little piece of your family's story.

Designed with meaning

From personalised family prints and birth flowers to cards celebrating new arrivals, birthdays and life's special moments, everything I create is designed with the intention of making it feel personal.

I'm drawn to a softer, more timeless style, delicate botanical illustrations, natural details and considered typography that won't feel out of place as trends come and go.

I want Bloom & Kin's pieces to be the kind of things you keep. Something you can look at years from now and still remember exactly who it was made for and why.

A small business with a big heart

Bloom & Kin is a one-person creative studio, which means every part of the business is personal. From the initial idea and design through to preparing your order, there's a lot of care that goes into what I create.

Starting the business during maternity leave has made Bloom & Kin particularly special to me. What began as an idea during a period of change has grown into something of my own — a creative space where I can combine the experience I've built over more than a decade in design with something much closer to home: celebrating family.

The name Bloom & Kin reflects exactly that. Bloom represents flowers, nature and growth, while Kin represents family, connection and belonging.

SPECIAL MOMENTS

For the moments that matter

Whether you're welcoming a new baby, celebrating a birthday, bringing your family together in one piece of artwork or looking for a meaningful gift for someone special, I hope you'll find something here that feels personal to you.

Thank you for supporting my little business and for allowing me to be part of some of your most special moments.
